Over four hundred presentations inspired by current discussions on aesthetic and pedagogic synergies in children’s culture will be showcased at IRSCL2021: Aesthetic and Pedagogic Entanglements. The twenty-fifth version of the biennial congress of the International Research Society for Children's Literature (IRSCL) will take place, fully online, from October 19th through October 29th. This is the first IRSCL Congress to be hosted in Latin America, as well as the first to feature a bilingual programme while coinciding with the academic society's 50th anniversary.

The programme of this event includes over one hundred panels, six keynote speakers, a graduate workshop, a forum on academic publishing and dialogue-oriented thematic rooms. Congress activities will be carried out between 8:00 and 22:00 (Santiago de Chile, GMT-3) thus accommodating over 400 speakers from different time zones across the globe.
